Product Description:
Used as a highly efficient phosphorescent emitter in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), particularly in blue and sky-blue devices. Its strong spin-orbit coupling due to the iridium center enables efficient triplet harvesting, resulting in high electroluminescence efficiency. The fluorinated ligands enhance electron transport properties and improve device stability by increasing oxidative resistance. Commonly doped into host materials in the emissive layer of OLED displays and lighting panels, it contributes to low turn-on voltage, high color purity, and long operational lifetime. Also explored in tandem OLED architectures and as a dopant in solution-processed OLEDs for printable electronics.
