Product Description:
Used in combination with a xanthine oxidase inhibitor (such as allopurinol) for the treatment of hyperuricemia associated with gout. It works by increasing the excretion of uric acid through the kidneys, helping to lower serum uric acid levels. This reduces the risk of gout flares and helps manage chronic gout in patients who have not achieved target uric acid levels with allopurinol alone.
