Used as a curing agent and crosslinking promoter in polyurethane systems, especially in coatings, adhesives, and elastomers. Its long aliphatic chain provides flexibility and improves impact resistance, while the secondary amine groups enable controlled reactivity with isocyanates. Offers good solubility in organic solvents and helps achieve balanced pot life and cure speed. Also utilized in specialty resins where hydrolytic stability and low color are required.
