Used primarily as an interlayer in laminated safety glass for automotive windshields and architectural applications due to its excellent adhesion, transparency, and impact resistance. Its ability to absorb shock and hold glass fragments together upon breakage makes it ideal for safety-critical applications. Also used in protective coatings, adhesives, and as a binder in ceramic green tapes and photovoltaic modules. In specialty applications, it serves in ink formulations and as a film former in various industrial coatings.
