Product Description:
Widely used in cell biology and molecular biology laboratories for cell detachment and tissue dissociation. Effectively removes adherent cells from culture surfaces by chelating calcium and magnesium ions, which weakens cell-to-cell and cell-to-substrate adhesion. Commonly used in sample preparation for flow cytometry, cell counting, and subculturing cell lines. Also employed in washing cells to remove serum or other media components without causing significant membrane damage. Its EDTA content enhances the efficiency of trypsin and other proteolytic enzymes when used in combination. Suitable for use in protocols requiring gentle yet effective cell harvesting.
