Product Description:

Used in aluminum casting as a grain refiner to improve mechanical properties and surface finish of aluminum alloys. It is particularly effective in refining primary aluminum and recycled aluminum by promoting uniform grain structure during solidification. Employed in the production of zirconium metal and zirconium-based compounds through reduction processes. Applied in electroplating baths to deposit zirconium-containing coatings, which offer enhanced corrosion resistance and wear protection on metal surfaces. Utilized in the manufacturing of specialty ceramics and refractory materials due to its thermal stability and fluoride content. Serves as a fluxing agent in metallurgical processes to lower melting temperatures and improve slag removal. Also used in the synthesis of fluoride glasses and in some pesticide formulations as a source of fluorine and zirconium.
