Product Description: Used primarily in ophthalmology to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension by reducing intraocular pressure. It acts as a Rho kinase inhibitor, which enhances aqueous humor outflow through the trabecular meshwork. Its mechanism also promotes relaxation of trabecular meshwork and Schlemm’s canal cells, improving drainage. Due to its anti-fibrotic properties, it may help prevent scarring after glaucoma surgery. Additionally studied for corneal endothelial disorders and Fuchs’ dystrophy, where it supports cell migration and wound healing in the corneal endothelium.
