Product Description:
Used in microbiology for the selective isolation and detection of *Salmonella* species, particularly *Salmonella Typhi* and *Salmonella Paratyphi*, from clinical specimens such as blood, stool, and urine. It contains selective agents that inhibit the growth of Gram-positive bacteria and most Gram-negative enteric organisms, allowing *Salmonella* to grow while suppressing background flora.
