Mild Preserved DCP™ (Preservative-Free, Emollient+Preserve)
a liquid multifunctional formulation of pentylene glycol, caprylyl glycol and decylene glycol which, in addition to its main function to provide emolliency properties for skin care applications, improves the antimicrobial efficacy of traditional preservative systems and therefore reduces the susceptibility of the cosmetic products to microorganisms.
Usage: For any type of product
Mixing method: Can withstand heat up to 80 degrees for no more than 5 minutes and can be used in cosmetic formulas with a pH in the range of 4-9. Please study the instructions for use above. It should be mixed in the last step of the formula when it has a gel texture. or cream
Usage rate: 0.1-1.25%
Product characteristics: Clear, colorless or light yellow liquid
Solubility:
- Can dissolve in propylene glycol, butylene glycol, ethoxydiglycol and alcohol.
- Can be dispersed in oil (Can be used in oil-based formulas such as lipstick, lip balm by blending it with oil.)
- Can dissolve in water but at limited concentration
Storage: Can be stored at room temperature But close the bottle cap tightly. Then completely protected from sunlight or heat. The product has a minimum shelf life of 2 years.
