Used in livestock feed preservation due to its antimicrobial properties, effectively inhibiting the growth of bacteria, molds, and fungi in silage and animal feed. Commonly applied in agriculture as a fumigant and disinfectant, especially in beekeeping to control parasitic mites like Varroa destructor.
