Product Description:
Used as a precursor in the production of molybdenum-based catalysts for petroleum refining, especially in hydrodesulfurization processes. Plays a role in the synthesis of molybdenum oxide pigments for ceramics and glass, providing yellow to orange colors. Employed in corrosion inhibitor formulations for metal surface treatments. Also utilized in analytical chemistry for phosphate detection in water and soil samples through colorimetric methods.
