Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY is an aluminum zirconium glycine complex powder used as an antiperspirant active in deodorant and underarm care formulas.

Aluminum zirconium GLY grades generally give stronger sweat and odor control than Aluminum Chlorohydrate because the aluminum-zirconium complex can form more effective sweat-duct plugs while remaining practical for water-compatible cosmetic systems.

This grade contains 4 chlorine atoms in the zirconium portion of the complex and is a balanced aluminum zirconium GLY grade with good sweat and odor protection; practical when moving up from Aluminum Chlorohydrate.

Product Description: Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY is used when a formulator wants antiperspirant performance beyond Aluminum Chlorohydrate. Build formulas with skin-feel support, humectants and irritation-moderating ingredients when using stronger antiperspirant systems. Final product performance should be checked in the selected base because electrolyte load, pH, solvent balance and product format can affect clarity, feel and efficacy.

Usage: Antiperspirant/deodorant creams, gels, roll-ons, sticks, sprays and body-odor control products.

Mixing method:

- Pre-disperse into the water phase, hydroalcoholic phase or compatible powder base until uniform.

- Add with good mixing and avoid prolonged high heat after the active has been dispersed.

- Check finished formula pH, salt load, clarity and skin feel before scale-up, especially in transparent gels or spray systems.

Usage rate: 5-20%. Use within the applicable antiperspirant regulations for the target market and final product format.

Product characteristics: White powder.

Solubility: Water soluble / water dispersible depending on formula electrolyte load and concentration.

Storage: Keep tightly closed. Protect from air, light and moisture.
