Product Description:
Used as a chelating agent for the treatment of heavy metal poisoning, particularly in cases of mercury and lead toxicity. It helps mobilize and excrete metals through urine. Also employed in the management of cystinuria, a condition that leads to kidney stones, by forming a soluble complex with cystine, reducing stone formation.
