Product Description:
Used as a phosphor in various applications such as cathode ray tubes, X-ray screens, and glow-in-the-dark products due to its luminescent properties when doped with activators like copper or silver. Commonly employed in electroluminescent panels and LEDs for its semiconductor characteristics. Also utilized as an opaque pigment in paints, plastics, and coatings where high hiding power and resistance to ultraviolet light are required. Serves as a protective coating on steel through electrodeposition to prevent corrosion. Applied in infrared optics as a transparent material for optical windows and lenses because of its wide transmission range in the infrared spectrum.
