Product Description:
Used in the production of ceramic glazes and glass to improve hardness and durability. Commonly employed in the manufacture of rat poison and pesticides due to its toxicity to rodents and insects. Added to brick and tile formulations to reduce efflorescence and improve firing characteristics. Utilized in the steel industry as a scavenger to remove sulfur from molten metal. Also found in specialty barium compounds and in some types of welding fluxes.
