It is a water-insoluble white powder that can be easily dispersed in water where the polymeric anhydride hydrolyzes to produce a transparent solution of the free acid. PVM/MA Copolymer (polymeric anhydride form) is used as a base polymer for making bioadhesives for denture adhesives.
Use: for Bioadhesives
Mixing method: Soluble in solvents such as THF, Acetone
