Used for the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at high risk of fracture. It helps increase bone mass and reduce the likelihood of spine and non-spine fractures. Works by stimulating bone formation through activation of the parathyroid hormone receptor. Administered via daily subcutaneous injection. Particularly beneficial for patients who have previously experienced fractures or cannot tolerate other osteoporosis therapies.
