Used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), it helps relax the muscles in the airways to improve breathing. It is administered by inhalation and provides long-acting bronchodilation when used regularly. Often included in maintenance therapy to reduce symptoms such as shortness of breath and wheezing. Not intended for relief of acute bronchospasm.
