description Product Description
Used in targeted cancer therapies, particularly in inhibiting tumor angiogenesis and stromal support in solid tumors. Binds selectively to the beta subunit of the platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFRβ), blocking receptor activation and downstream signaling pathways involved in pericyte recruitment and vessel stabilization. This inhibition disrupts the tumor microenvironment, reducing blood vessel maturation and increasing the efficacy of chemotherapeutic agents. Employed in research and development of antibody-drug conjugates and as a tool in preclinical studies to evaluate PDGFRβ expression and function in tumor models. Also explored for imaging applications to detect PDGFRβ-positive tumors and monitor treatment response.
