Used primarily in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). By inhibiting this effect, it promotes relaxation and widening of blood vessels, improving blood flow. This reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems, especially in patients with diabetes or existing heart conditions.
