Product Description:
Used primarily as an anthelmintic in veterinary medicine to treat parasitic worm infections in livestock and companion animals. Effective against a broad spectrum of nematodes, especially in cattle, sheep, pigs, and poultry. Commonly administered orally, topically, or by injection to control roundworms, lungworms, and gastrointestinal parasites. Also used in some countries as an immunomodulator in human medicine to enhance immune response, particularly in viral infections and certain cancers, though this use is limited and off-label in many regions. Its ability to stimulate white blood cell activity makes it useful in treating recurrent respiratory infections and as an adjuvant in vaccine strategies. Due to risk of residues and side effects, withdrawal periods are required before animal products can be consumed.
