Product Description:
Used in toothpaste and mouth rinses to prevent dental cavities by strengthening tooth enamel and reducing the ability of bacteria to produce acid. Added to public water supplies in some regions to promote dental health and reduce tooth decay across populations. Employed in cleaning products for removing rust and stains due to its ability to dissolve mineral deposits. Utilized in the production of aluminum and in metallurgical processes as a flux. Also applied in wood preservatives to protect against decay and insect damage. Used in laboratories as a reagent, particularly in biochemical assays where it acts as an enzyme inhibitor.
