Product Description:
Used in toothpaste and mouth rinses to prevent dental cavities by strengthening tooth enamel and reducing the ability of bacteria to produce acid. Added to public drinking water supplies in controlled amounts to promote oral health and reduce tooth decay in communities. Employed in metal plating processes to improve coating adhesion and surface finish. Utilized in the production of fluorocarbons and other fluorides as a fluorine source. Applied in cleaning agents for removing rust and scale from metal surfaces. Used in laboratories as a preservative in blood collection tubes to inhibit enzyme activity. Also found in some pesticides and rodenticides due to its toxicity to certain pests.
