Earth/skin-tone pearlescent mica pigment for warm nude/bronze/brown shades; adds shimmer and slip in powders, lip and cream formulas.
Metallic Red Mica (12-55micron) is an earth/skin-tone pearlescent mica pigment for warm, natural makeup shades (nude, beige, bronze, brown, terracotta).
It adds a soft shimmer, improves slip, and helps create a radiant, dimensional finish in both powder and emulsion systems.
Applications: pressed/loose powder, foundation, blush/bronzer, eyeshadow, lipstick/lip balm, creams/lotions, soaps.
How to use:
- Pre-disperse with a small amount of oil (esters/vegetable oils) or with glycerin/propylene glycol for easier wetting, then add to the batch.
- For powders: blend during milling/sieving for uniform color and shimmer.
- For emulsions/creams: add to the oil phase or post-add with good shear.
Usage rate: 0.1–30% (can be higher depending on shade and coverage).
Appearance: fine pearlescent powder with earth/skin-tone shimmer.
Solubility: insoluble in water and oils; dispersible.
Storage: keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place; avoid moisture and contamination.
