Multifunctional emollient and solubilizer for elegant cosmetic formulations
PEG-12 Diisostearate is a polyethylene glycol ester derived from isostearic acid, designed as a multifunctional emollient and solubilizer for cosmetic formulations.
This specialized ingredient combines the moisturizing properties of isostearic acid with the solubilizing capabilities of PEG-12, creating an effective emulsifier that enhances product texture while improving the delivery of active ingredients. Its unique molecular structure provides excellent spreading properties and a non-greasy, silky feel on the skin.
PEG-12 Diisostearate excels in both water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions, offering formulators versatility in creating stable, elegant textures. Unlike traditional PEG esters, this ingredient maintains stability across a wide pH range and demonstrates superior compatibility with various cosmetic actives and pigments.

How to mix:
- Add to oil phase at 60-70°C for emulsion systems
- Can be cold-processed in anhydrous formulations
