Product Description:
Used primarily as an intermediate in the production of nonylphenol ethoxylates, which are nonionic surfactants found in industrial and household cleaning agents, detergents, emulsifiers, and wetting agents. Widely applied in textile processing, leather treatment, agrochemical formulations, and oilfield chemicals due to their effectiveness in reducing surface tension and stabilizing emulsions. Also utilized in the manufacturing of antioxidants for rubber and plastics, and as a component in some paints and coatings. Its use is increasingly regulated due to environmental persistence and endocrine-disrupting properties.
