Hair-Cond™ 0949 Emulsion is a 35% cationic emulsion of an amine‑functional silicone polymer. The amodimethicone actives are delivered in an opaque, low‑viscosity liquid at neutral pH. A non‑tallow quaternary‑amine surfactant is used; no alkylphenol ethoxylate (APE) emulsifiers are present. Developed as a conditioning additive for shampoos, conditioners, styling aids, and hair colorants, Hair-Cond™ 0949 Emulsion offers ease of formulation and excellent dilution stability.

Conditioning Performance

• Wet Combing: Demonstrates significant reduction in combing force when 1 mg active is applied to 2 g hair tress and evaluated using Instron® instrumentation.

• Curl Retention: Provides minimal weight on dried hair, as shown by curl retention testing.

Compatibility

Hair-Cond™ 0949 Emulsion is compatible with systems containing anionic, cationic, and non‑ionic surfactants.

How to Use

1. Add Hair-Cond™ 0949 Emulsion slowly at the end of processing, below 40 °C (104 °F), with continuous mixing.

2. Recommended use levels:

   • Conditioners: 5%

   • Styling Products: 0.5–5.0%

Use: Can be used in a nourishing coating formula for soft hair.

How to mix: Mix in water

Utilization rate: 0.1-5%

Product characteristics: Clear white to yellow liquid

Solubility: can be dispersed in water

Storage: can be stored at room temperature But close the bottle cap tightly. Then completely covered from sunlight or heat, the product is at least 2 years old.
