Glass alcohol hydrometer (areometer) for measuring alcohol concentration in ethanol–water solutions within 50–60°.
Typical applications: spirit distillation QC, product blending, and laboratory verification of ethanol content. Best used with a tall measuring cylinder.
Specifications
• Range: 50–60° | Resolution: 0.1° | Accuracy: ±0.1° (at 20 °C)
• Material: Glass body with clear, easy‑to‑read scale
How to use
1) Fill a clean, tall cylinder with the sample (degassed, free of bubbles). 2) Ensure sample is at 20 °C (or apply temperature correction). 3) Lower the hydrometer slowly; let it float freely. 4) Read the value at the bottom of the meniscus at eye level. 5) Rinse and dry after use.
Notes: Not suitable for sugary/viscous liquids without compensation. For highest accuracy, measure at 20 °C or use a temperature correction table.
Certification: The hydrometer is not pre‑certified. It can be certified to ISO/IEC 17025 by an accredited third‑party laboratory. Customers may arrange this themselves, or we can arrange certification via our contracted lab for a 2,000 THB fee (lead time applies).
