description Product Description
Used as a pigment in ceramics and glass to produce blue, green, or red colors depending on the matrix and firing conditions. Acts as a catalyst in chemical reactions, especially in the oxidation of hydrocarbons. Employed in the production of rayon and other textiles as part of the processing chemicals. Utilized in batteries and supercapacitors due to its electrochemical properties. Added to antifouling paints for ships to prevent the growth of marine organisms. Applied in the synthesis of other copper salts and in metallurgical processes as an intermediate. Also found in some wood preservatives and pesticides for its biocidal properties.
