Product Description: Widely used in sunscreens and cosmetics due to its excellent ability to block ultraviolet (UV) radiation. It provides broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays without irritating the skin, making it ideal for sensitive skin formulations. Commonly used as a white pigment in paints, coatings, and plastics because of its high refractive index and strong light-scattering properties. It enhances brightness, opacity, and durability in architectural paints, industrial coatings, and printing inks. Found in food products as a coloring agent (E171) to produce a bright white appearance in items such as candies, chewing gum, and dairy products, though its use in food is under review in some regions. Used in photocatalytic applications, where it helps break down organic pollutants in air and water when exposed to light. This property is utilized in self-cleaning surfaces, air purifiers, and antibacterial coatings. Applied in the production of ceramics and glass to improve strength and resistance to thermal shock. Also used in some medical devices and dental materials due to its biocompatibility and durability.
