Sodium PCA is a naturally occurring substance in human skin and is part of the Natural Moisturizing Factors that helps balance and moisturize the skin, preventing moisture loss that causes dry, rough skin and premature wrinkles, and stimulating the skin to be strong and hydrated.
Sodium PCA is very gentle, non-irritating, non-comedogenic, and can be dissolved in water and alcohol. It is suitable for mixing in all types of products to act as a moisturizer.
It is recommended to use it together with Sodium Lactate and Urea for maximum moisturizing effect as these three substances are important components of the Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) which occurs naturally under healthy skin.
Usage: For all products, for moisturizing.
Mixing method: Mix in water (water-phase)
Usage rate: 0.5-2% (use according to desired efficiency)
