NMF 300 (e.q. Prodew 300) is a water-soluble Natural Moisturizing Factor style humectant blend for skin-care and hair-care formulas that need fast, non-oily hydration support.

The blend combines sodium lactate, sodium PCA, sorbitol and proline in an aqueous system. These components are aligned with the skin's own water-binding chemistry: lactate and PCA help hold water in the stratum corneum, sorbitol contributes polyol humectancy, and proline supports the amino-acid fraction of the NMF profile.

The listed composition is the final active/non-water composition of the supplied aqueous solution: Sodium Lactate 29.0%, Sodium PCA 10.55%, Sorbitol 7.56%, Proline 2.9%, and Chlorphenesin / Phenoxyethanol (Microcare PHC eq.) at 1.0% as the preservative system, with Water approximately 48.99%. Manufacturing additions are adjusted for the supplied liquid raw-material concentrations.

Product description: NMF 300 is suitable for formulas that need a compact, water-soluble humectant blend instead of adding each NMF component separately. It can help reduce dry-feel, improve hydration feel and support a softer skin after-feel in rinse-off and leave-on products.

Use: Add to the water phase or cool-down phase of cosmetic formulas. The material is water soluble and can be used in toners, essences, serums, gels, creams, lotions, masks, facial cleansers, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

Suggested level: 1-10% depending on the target hydration profile and total electrolyte tolerance of the formula.

Formulation notes: NMF 300 is electrolyte rich. In polymer-thickened gels, check viscosity after addition and adjust the thickener or neutralization system as needed. Avoid excessive heating after addition where possible, and verify final pH, clarity and viscosity in the finished formula.

Appearance: Clear to slightly yellowish aqueous liquid.
