Linked Papain is a papain enzyme that is cross-linked with a polymer to improve the stability of the Papain enzyme, which normally degrades quickly when dissolved in water.

This papain enzyme works to break down proteins that are held together in the epidermis layer, allowing the skin to shed new cells faster. It can be used alone, as the natural exfoliation process will work faster because there is less protein adhesion in the skin layer. Or, it can be used together with AHA, which will result in more and faster exfoliation.
