Product Description:
Used as a potent antifungal agent, particularly in agricultural settings to protect crops from fungal infections. It is effective against a broad spectrum of fungi including Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, and Deuteromycetes. Commonly applied as a seed treatment and foliar spray in cereals, fruits, and vegetables to control diseases such as rusts, powdery mildew, and leaf spots. Its mode of action involves inhibition of ergosterol biosynthesis by targeting the fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme (CYP51), disrupting cell membrane integrity and growth. Shows good systemic activity and residual protection, making it suitable for preventive and early curative use. Stable under normal storage conditions and compatible with many other agrochemicals in tank mixes.
