Product Description:
Used primarily to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), PRAZOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE helps relax blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily, which reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke. It is also prescribed for managing symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), improving urine flow by relaxing muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. Additionally, it is sometimes used off-label to treat anxiety, PTSD-related nightmares, and sleep disturbances in certain patients. Its ability to block alpha-1 receptors makes it effective in reducing vascular resistance without significantly increasing heart rate.
