Product Description:
Used primarily in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, this compound helps control blood glucose levels by stimulating insulin release from the pancreas. It belongs to the sulfonylurea class of drugs, which act by closing ATP-sensitive potassium channels in pancreatic beta cells, leading to cell depolarization and subsequent insulin secretion.
