Product Description:
Used in ophthalmology to dilate pupils during eye examinations and to treat certain eye conditions like uveitis. Also employed in anesthesia to reduce salivation and bronchial secretions before surgery. Acts as an antidote for organophosphate and carbamate poisoning by counteracting excessive cholinergic activity. Used in emergency medicine to treat symptomatic bradycardia by increasing heart rate. Sometimes applied in the management of poisoning by nerve agents or insecticides. Also utilized in gastrointestinal procedures to decrease motility and secretions.
