High Resolution Agarose is widely used in molecular biology for the separation of small DNA and RNA fragments with exceptional clarity. It is ideal for applications requiring precise fragment discrimination, such as analyzing PCR products, restriction digests, and nucleic acid fragments in the range of 10–1,000 base pairs. Due to its fine gel structure, it provides sharper bands and better resolution compared to standard agarose, making it suitable for diagnostic work, cloning verification, and genotyping. It is commonly used in horizontal gel electrophoresis systems and works well with common nucleic acid stains like ethidium bromide or SYBR Safe. Its high gel strength also allows for easy handling and minimizes gel breakage during staining and imaging.
