Horse Serum is an animal-derived serum intended as a supplement for cell culture media and as a protein-rich matrix for laboratory workflows.
In cell culture, serum can contribute attachment factors, carrier proteins (e.g., albumin), lipids, and growth-supporting components that help maintain cell viability and proliferation. Because serum is a complex biological mixture, performance may vary across cell lines and across lots; pre-testing and lot control are recommended for critical assays.
For best reproducibility, thaw under controlled temperature, mix gently to re-homogenize, aliquot for single-use, and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Heat inactivation and sterile filtration should be applied only when your protocol requires it.

Operating Instructions:
1. Thaw at 2–8°C (recommended) or at room temperature under supervision; do not microwave.
2. Mix gently by inversion until homogeneous; avoid foaming.
3. Aliquot into sterile containers for single-use to reduce freeze–thaw stress.
4. Apply heat inactivation and/or sterile filtration only if required by your protocol.
