Used as a key monomer in the production of high-performance polyesters and liquid crystal polymers (LCPs). These polymers exhibit excellent thermal stability, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance, making them suitable for electronic components, automotive parts, and aerospace applications. Its rigid molecular structure contributes to the formation of thermotropic liquid crystalline phases, enhancing processability and final material properties. Also explored in specialty coatings and advanced fibers where durability under extreme conditions is required.
