Widely used as a drying agent in alkyd-based paints and coatings, accelerating the oxidation and polymerization of drying oils to reduce drying time. Commonly added to printing inks to improve film formation and enhance adhesion. Functions as a catalyst in the synthesis of polyurethanes and other polymer systems. Employed in wood preservatives to improve the performance of biocides. Also utilized in fuel additives to enhance combustion efficiency and reduce deposits in engines.
