Product Description:
Used as a preservative in food and pharmaceuticals to prevent oxidation and spoilage by removing dissolved oxygen in solutions. Commonly applied in wine making to inhibit microbial growth and protect flavor. Employed in water treatment to scavenge chlorine and dechlorinate drinking water and wastewater. Utilized in the pulp and paper industry during processing to control chlorine levels and reduce bleaching byproducts. Acts as a reducing agent in chemical manufacturing, including dye production and photographic developing solutions. Also found in some cosmetic formulations to maintain product stability.
