Product Description:
Used in the production of barium salts and as a flux in the steel industry to remove impurities during refining. Employed in the manufacture of heat treatment salts for hardening steel. Applied in the purification of brine solutions in caustic chlorine plants by precipitating sulfate impurities. Utilized in laboratory settings for qualitative analysis to test for the presence of sulfate ions, forming a characteristic white precipitate. Also used in the production of pigments and in the glass industry to improve luster and workability.
