Product Description:
Used primarily in electroplating baths to deposit cadmium metal coatings that provide excellent corrosion resistance, especially in aerospace and marine applications. Also employed in the preparation of cadmium-based pigments and in some types of rechargeable nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries. Serves as a source of sulfate and cadmium ions in analytical chemistry for calibration and testing.
