Product Description:
Used as a drying agent due to its strong hygroscopic nature, making it effective in dehumidifying gases and solvents. Commonly applied in refrigeration brines and cooling systems because of its ability to lower the freezing point of water. Employed in concrete acceleration to speed up setting time in cold weather. Utilized in food processing as a firming agent for canned vegetables and in sports drinks to replenish electrolytes. Also used in dust control on roads and as a source of calcium in wastewater treatment to enhance solid separation.
