Product Description:
Used as a catalyst in oxidation reactions, particularly in the production of terephthalic acid from p-xylene. Acts as a drying agent in paints, varnishes, and inks by accelerating the absorption of oxygen, promoting rapid curing. Employed in the synthesis of other cobalt-containing compounds for industrial use. Serves as a colorant in ceramics and glass, imparting deep blue hues. Utilized in electroplating baths to improve coating hardness and wear resistance. Also functions as a moisture absorber in desiccants and in the manufacture of vitamin B12 supplements as a cobalt source.
