Product Description:
Used as a catalyst in various organic reactions, particularly in coupling reactions such as the Ullmann reaction, where it facilitates the formation of carbon-carbon bonds. It is also employed in the synthesis of acrylates and other industrial chemicals. In electroplating, it serves as a source of copper ions for depositing copper layers on surfaces. Additionally, it finds use in gas absorbents for removing carbon monoxide from gas mixtures due to its ability to form complexes with CO. In agriculture, it acts as a fungicide and wood preservative. It is also utilized in the production of dyes and pigments, and in photovoltaic cells as a component in semiconductor materials.
