Product Description:
Used as a deoxidizer in metallurgy to remove oxygen from molten metals, improving metal purity and quality. Acts as a reducing agent in the production of other silicon compounds. Employed in manufacturing silicon steel and special alloys to enhance strength and heat resistance. Utilized in the synthesis of silane gas, which is important in semiconductor and solar cell manufacturing. Also found in some pyrotechnic compositions for generating smoke and incendiary effects due to its reactivity with moisture.
