Product Description:
Used in oil and gas drilling as a dense brine solution to control well pressure and prevent blowouts. Its high solubility in water allows it to form clear, high-density fluids ideal for completion and workover operations in deep wells. Also employed in the production of other bromine compounds and in some industrial water treatment processes to inhibit microbial growth. Additionally, it finds use in photography and pharmaceuticals as a source of bromide ions.
