Product Description:
Used as a dust suppressant on roads and construction sites due to its hygroscopic nature, which helps retain moisture and reduce airborne particles. Commonly applied in winter road maintenance as a de-icing agent because it lowers the freezing point of water and remains effective at lower temperatures compared to sodium chloride. Employed in the production of magnesium metal and as a coagulant in the preparation of tofu from soy milk. Utilized in agriculture as a source of magnesium for plant nutrition, especially in magnesium-deficient soils. Also found in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics for its moisturizing and skin-conditioning properties. Used in some cement formulations to improve setting properties and strength.
